Since we, Herwig Peschka, Paul Landl, who run Galerie Kanal 39, are artists ourselves, we know the problems that we artists are unfortunately all too often confronted with.

Friendship, Vitamin B,... to name just a few of the ways some artists manage to get into a gallery. Unfortunately, art is usually only judged subjectively by a few. And that's exactly what we want to change.

" Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. "

That's why we don't want to and can't rate "art".

What we want to achieve with the three-day exhibition series "ARTNIGHT" is more FAIRNESS in the art world and more diversity, as well as bringing unseen art to light.

... means that the viewer or the public should evaluate which artists or his/her works become famous.

- For this reason, anyone who wants to can exhibit in our gallery.

... and in principle, artists of all genres can participate with us,

such as photography, sculpture, painting, graphics, video animation, textile design, music, Dj and many, many more.

To make sure the artist is serious and wants to promote their art of their own accord,

we have set a "participation fee" of 300 euros.

With this contribution we can run the gallery or organize and implement the exhibitions, and also cover the costs incurred, such as electricity, water, maintenance, etc. of the gallery.

Normally we do a vernissage on the first day, which then turns into " art clubbing " at a later hour. With DJ sounds or live bands and other performance actions.

The premises of the gallery -Kanal39- offer space for 5-6 artists.

Of course, the number of participating artists depends on the size of the respective exhibits.

The premises of Galerie Kanal39 offer the possibility of an exhibition by several artists.

The effect:
Every artist invites his “fan community” to his exhibition. (usually around 10 - 20 people)
All other artists do the same.

This means that the works of each individual artist are seen by the other "fan communities".
“Fan communities” that each individual artist would never achieve themselves.
This means that the works will be seen by a large number of other visitors and this increases your chances of selling enormously.

and something else brilliant... "the visitor generation".

with 10 exhibiting artists x 20 visitors per exhibitor, the minimum number of visitors is 200 pax. correct?

This is how we ensure that there are always enough visitors to our exhibitions.

So the more guests each exhibitor invites, the more visitors.

Of course we - Kanal39 - also have a large number of contacts to guests of past exhibitions, art buyers, other galleries, the press, etc., which we of course also invite and inform. see press.

Our goal is to present the works of the exhibiting artists to as large an audience as possible.
